Raw Material – Coconut Husk
Fresh coconut husks are carefully sourced from trusted farms and selected based on maturity and quality. The husks are cleaned to remove dust, sand, and other impurities, ensuring a reliable raw material base for producing premium coir products.
Crushing
Crushing
The cleaned coconut husks are mechanically crushed to break down their structure and loosen the coir fibers. This process helps separate the fibers from the pith while preserving their natural strength and flexibility.
Peat Extraction
Peat Extraction
Following crushing, the coir pith (peat) is extracted from the fiber mass. This step ensures effective separation of fine particles, allowing the pith to be processed independently for horticultural and agricultural applications.
Screening
Screening
The extracted material is passed through multiple screening stages to achieve uniform particle size and remove unwanted residues. This ensures consistency in both fiber and pith quality before further processing.
Washing
Washing
Screened coir material is thoroughly washed using fresh water to reduce excess salts and remove remaining impurities. This washing process improves EC levels, making the coir suitable for sensitive crops and controlled growing environments.
Drying
Drying
After washing, the coir is dried under controlled conditions to achieve optimal moisture content. Proper drying prevents microbial growth and prepares the material for compression and long-term storage.
Compressing
Compressing
The dried coir is compressed into blocks, slabs, or bales to reduce volume and facilitate efficient handling. This step ensures uniform density and maintains product integrity during transportation.
Quality Check
Quality Check
Each compressed batch undergoes strict quality inspection, including checks for moisture, EC, pH, and physical consistency. Only products that meet defined quality standards are approved for dispatch.
Palletizing
Palletizing
Approved products are neatly stacked and secured on pallets to ensure stability and protection during storage and transit. Proper palletizing minimizes damage and optimizes container space.
